About Me (Dani)
Hi! I’m Dani Ramos, the creator behind The Guide Mexico. I was born and raised in Mexico, and my love for travel and storytelling has taken me around the world and ultimately brought me back home.
I’m a writer, publicist, and photographer, passionate about sharing Mexico’s beauty with travelers near and far. Over the years, I’ve photographed and created content for some of the country’s most renowned restaurants, including Pujol, Balcón del Zócalo, and Michelin-recognized establishments.
I also run The Guide CDMX, a Spanish-language site dedicated to uncovering the best of Mexico City, from its culinary gems to its creative pulse.
My journey as a traveler began at 19, when I fell in love with the freedom and discovery that come with exploring new places. I spent years traveling full-time, living in Thailand, Kenya, London, Germany, and the USA, and journeying through Asia, Africa, and Europe. Each destination taught me something new about culture, connection, and what it means to call a place home.
In 2020, I decided to put down roots in Mexico City, where I now focus on capturing and sharing the stories, flavors, and experiences that make Mexico one of the most fascinating countries in the world.
